Our story began with a shared vision to regenerate the world’s coral reefs and protect marine biodiversity for future generations.
Founded in 2020 by Ulrike, Marie, Hanna and Josephine with backgrounds in science, art, and economics, rrreefs evolved from an association into an impact-driven business by 2023.
We combine scientific design with innovative engineering, and created interlocking 3D-printed clay modules that mimic natural reef structures to support coral growth and host marine life.
Through local partnerships, our projects span from Ecuador, Colombia, the British Virgin Islands, the Philippines, and the Maldives. Today, rrreefs is building more than reefs by fostering hope and resilience for our oceans.
